| Notes | Did the \squirt dome\ run with Lenny, putting in at bridge 3 miles upstream. Lots of one hit seams on the way down, some scary boils and whirlpools shearing off big rocks on side of canyon. Got to rincon and it looked like Bermuda Triangle above 3 feet. Basically a big eddy fence, clear ridge in the middle of the flow. A eddy is there on river left to make it back up, glad I had a borrowed boat with a smooth hull instead of a denty ninja (Thanks Sam!). Tried a few times with a full float PFD, didn\t have the stones to drop in without it. It\s there if you want it. After a few tries I missed the eddy and dropped over the next ledge on river left. Started experimenting with this lower drop, steep charc right next to the rock, and had great luck! Really smooth drop, and the current pushes you back into a casual eddy on river left to go again. Lots of 3-5 second head under--if you miss a ride it\s pilot error. There is an even more powerful squeeze about 10-15 feet downstream of the rock on the eddyline, classic double suck. Didn\t clip any rocks. I would drive a couple hours just to hit this lower Rincon spot, really easy to line up and drop in. Read it and weep righties. | |||||

| Notes | Still has a big water feel...which is lovely. The eddy is surprisngly easy to get back up in, also its possible to reach the cactus corner eddy directly above the drop. Can easily work the double dip technique of taking a ride, putting your head up for a breath, and then ducking back under. Definitely worth a trip. | |||||
