Notes & Directions:		So this is the Whirlpool section that John and I wanted to checkout when we discovered Right There with the level right around 5.1. Stro is the one who told me about this spot. He told me that back in the day, him and some other old-schoolers would hit this spot up at times with respectable downtime in the whirlpools. After, being pleasantly surprised at Right There John and I headed on down to see what this spot would give down. We were not disappointed! Using a backcut charc we were getting consistent head under rides. I also had 3 rides in the 15 to 20 second range with close to 100 feet of travel. It was bordering on epic for a short span, but then things just went dry. We only had about an hour here before John and I headed back. After this I headed up to check out Afternoon Delight at this lower level, while John Headed to Brookmont Dam for some surfing. Afternoon Delight was surprisingly OK at this lower level, but I was really anxious to give Po Dunk another shot. I paddled down and was just about completely skunked. The water had dropped a little bit which may have been the reason for no downtime or I was just worn out. Anyway, the jury is still out on this spot, but the potential is there for a great new Realm! The Verdict is in: This spot is awesome!! Directions: You can just paddle down to this spot from Anglers. However, the best access is from the hike in from Marsden Track. There is a pull off about 200 feet upstream from the Stop sign at Brickyard Road on MacArthur Blvd. Park and hike to the river from here. During your hike will come to a bridge at the Canal. Go over the bridge and make a right onto the towpath and then an immediate left back onto the path. The path leads down to a T. There is a good launch spot right here--make a left at the T go ten feet and there is a path down to the river. Once here you will see an island directly across from you and another island farther out. You can attain up the channel between these two islands without much difficulty--once at the top of the channel ferry across to river right--get high enough to make it around the far island. Actually, we have found the attainment easier on the back side of the second island. You will see a rock that forms a large eddy in the middle of the channel. The flow that comes off the river left side this rock is forms the squeeze. You can pretty much enter anyway with regular righties--the rock does stick out quite a ways so I have been getting a foot away from the rock before initiating, however for a good drop you want to be as close to the rock as possible without hitting it. The flow on the left side of the rock also gives up respectable downtime above 3.45. Finally, the flow coming into the channel from the island is also fun to play with--I am still wondering if you can link up a ride from this top flow into squeeze off the eddy rock. There is not much traffic at this Realm. I would say it is a great place to practice Safety Happy Roaming! 6/16/12 I took the ? mark off the min and max reading so that it would report as in when its in. Stro
